INTRODUCTION

In 2018, the Kannada University’s ‘ Dr. A.N.  Upadhye  Extension Center’ was set up in collaboration with the Bharatesh Institution in Belgaum. Emphasizing collection, editing, documentation, analysis, translation and publications of ancient Kannada literature, organizing state and national workshops, camps, dialogues and seminars for jain literature and ancient Kannada literature every year, in the book formation of seminars on seminars, Arranging a series of special lectures series. Apart from this, the objectives of the Center are to facilitate the study of Ph.D, M.Phil and Diploma in M.A., Ph.D. Associate Degree Course for Kannada literature and history and archaeological issues. There are already 25 students in the center.
