Introduction

Kannada University is proud to have as its alumni Teachers, Administrators, Civil Servants, and others working in various fields like Media, Art, NGOS etc, over last few years . This number will continue to grow in the future years.

The University has an Alumni Association apart from the Department specific associations.  The University level alumni is named as  “Samshodhakara Vedike” though the number is less, the Association  actually take part in  the University activities like curriculum design, Revisions of  Syllabus , Organising  workshops of Research methodology and other Co-curricular Activities.

The University has good relationship with the Alumni Association to foster stronger relationship between the Alumni and other stakeholders; It also considers its alumni as an important organ in providing excellent education. The University also realizes that by engaging the alumni who have expertise in different areas can benefit the University and help identity strategic direction to Kannada University in its future programmes.
