Introduction<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Adhyayananga, Prasaranga and Adalithanga are the three major wings of Kannada University. The Publication Department of the University is called as Prasaranga. The Prasaranga of Kannada University is much different from the Prasarangas of other Universities. Established in 1992, the Prasaranga has published 1,412 books so far, belongs to various fields. The Prasaranga brings out 4 research journals and 1 periodical also.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”5309″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d” el_class=”img-prasa”][vc_column_text]Being a research oriented University all the faculty members of the university are undertaking different research projects. Most of those research projects and seminar papers of various departments are published in book form by Prasaranga. Apart from the research projects of faculty members the Prasaranga has published valuable writings of other eminent scholars also. Along with these scholarly and research oriented works some of the rare classical works were also published by Prasaranga. Through these publications the Prasaranga has successfully aimed it’s objectives of spreading the knowledge within the people. The publications of Prasaranga has not only fulfilled the curiosities of scholarly people but the common people also. Some serieses like Mantapamale, Nammavaru Male and Navasakshara Male are especially fulfilled the literary interests of common people.<\/p>\n

The main area of concentration of the Prasaranga is to promote knowledge about Kannada culture and supporting fields. That is why it has published books on different fields like Language, Literature, Culture, Fine Arts, History, Archaeology, Dravidian Studies, Epigraphy, Manuscriptology, Lexicongraphy, Encyclopaedia, Science, Medicine, Tribal  Studies, Folklore Studies, Development Studies, Translation Studies, Women Studies, Environmental Studies etc.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-book” add_icon=”true” title=”Books Catalog” tab_id=”1553502162476-3385c4c4-2e88″][vc_column_text el_class=”language-list”]<\/p>\n
