The texts (both written and oral) are placed in the larger matrix of culture to research on various issues related to history, society, polity. The literary texts are read and interpreted in the light of recent theories so as to re-read them from the context of the present. The Department has so far organized several seminars and come out with publications on Cultural interface of old texts from the point of view of present context of globalization, nativism and other issues.[\/stm_title][vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1552909188587{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}” el_id=”welcome-about”][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text el_class=”language-list” el_id=”table-cell”]<\/p>\n

Academic Activities<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Candidates applying for Post Graduate Diploma and Diploma courses should mention the Tuition Fee\/ Admission Fee\/DD number and date in the application form. Original marks cards should be produced at the time of admission and the photocopies of the marks cards should be duly attested by a Government Gazetted Officer.<\/p>\n

Candidates can pay fee in any branches of State Bank of India or Bank of India across Karnataka State. Demand Drafts should be in favour of Finance Officer, Kannada University, Hampi. The application should mention the name of the candidate, course details, study centre and registration number.<\/p>\n

The photocopies of challan\/DD should be duly attested by a Government Gazetted Officer. Three stamp size photographs (one affixed on the application form and other two having name, application number and course written on the backside) along with the application can be sent to Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Kannada University, Hampi 583276. Candidates opting for admissions at study centres should submit application in duplicate and submit to the Coordinator.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text el_id=”table-cell”]\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t
